The best French athlete in the 800m, Anaïs BOURGOIN, bronze medallist at the 2024 European Championships, will compete in the 600m.
The Parisian, who took third place in the Diamond League final, will face her main rival, Femke Bol, who has just run her first 800m in 1:59.
Anaïs already holds the French record for the 600m: 1:26.17, set on 1st February in New York.
This race will be good preparation for the World Indoor Championships in a few weeks' time.
With a record of 1'56'“97 in the 800m, we will be keeping a close eye on the Frenchwoman this summer as she aims to beat the old French record of 1'56”'53 (P. Djaté in 1995).
